June 24, 2009-The Big Day

Sister-in-law Jenny, getting the bride ready to go to the temple.
My brother, Otto, waiting patiently for the women to be ready to go.
Morgan and cousin (once removed or something) Logan Hill, waiting for the bride and groom to come out of the temple.
Otto and Brenna were married for time and eternity in the LDS Draper Temple. The ceremony was great and they both looked so good and so happy! CONGRATULATIONS!

Morgan and Grandpa Anderson waiting to leave the temple and head to the reception. Don't you just love Morgan's dress? It was her Easter dress from Grandma Webb. It just happened to have the wedding colors in it.
Just an idea of how huge I'm getting! Of course I'm holding Morgan and thus arching my back to keep my balance, so it may be a litte deceiving. I'm about 27 weeks here.
The dads and groomsmen. Left to right: Marshall, Fred, Otto, Tish, Phil, Connor.

They both got each other pretty good. Brenna had it up her nose.

June 23, 2009-The Rehersal Dinner

My brother, Otto, and his adoreable fiance, Brenna, at the rehersal dinner at Rodigio Grill. Don't they just look like a match made in heaven? They are the reason I went home to Utah.
My step-dad and my mom.
Sister-in-law, Jenny, and me.
My mom and my oldest brother, Marshall.

You've Gotta Love 'em!

I just love these little bathroom chairs. I had never seen them until we went to Korea, and now I see them in the states too. They are genius! Sometimes you just can't fit the stroller in there with you and who wants to put their child on a dirty bathroom floor? Not me! Morgan looks a little confused doesn't she?

June 21, 2009-Father's Day

Better late than never right?
Morgan playing with her Papa Webb on Father's Day.

We spent Father's Day at Clint's grandparent's house. It was so great to see so much extended family. Clint and I are both lucky to have such wonderful Father's and Grandfathers in our families. There's never enough words to express the amount of gratitude we feel for them. They are all amzing men whom we look up to and respect and look to as examples of strength, courage, faith, integrity, dicipline, and so much more.

Morgan, Jackson, and I are also blessed to have such a wonderful father/husband in our own home. It means so much to me that we will have a son to carry on the name of his father, grandfather, and great grandfather (Paul) and that my children have a father who they can love and respect and be proud of. Clint, thank you for giving me a beautiful little family and for leading our family in love and righteousness. We love you so much!

June 18, 2009-The Bridal Shower

On June 18th my mom, sister-in-law, and I threw a shower for my brother's fiance. It was so much fun shopping for decorations, baking, putting together treat bags and then actually throwing the party. We had a great time! In fact, we were having so much fun we didn't get very many pictures (oops). Thanks everyone who came!

Cute Hairdo, Silly Face

My sister-in-law, Jenny, did Morgan's hair so cute a week or 2 ago. You may have to blow up the picture to see.

Wednesday June 17, 2009

Morgan and I went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house last week with some of Clint's family. The temple is beautiful inside and out, like all of them are. The thing that impressed me the most about it was the chandeliers. They were so big and so beautiful. When we walked into the bride's room Morgan said "Oh Wow!". After the open house we went to dinner. Here's Morgan with Great Grandma Lee and Grandma Webb.

Tuesday June 16, 2009-The Splash Pad

On Tuesday morning last week we headed up to the Ogden area to spend the day with Clint's family. I decided to stop at the Splash Pad on our way to see what all the hipe was about. This place is in a public park and is free to everyone. Its a really neat place. It could provide hours of entertainment absolutely free! Morgan was really unsure about the whole thing. She basically walked around the perimeter and yelled at the water, especially when it splashed on her from the ground. Which is funny because she usually loves the water.
Luckily we got there early in the morning and there were only 2 other kids there. It didn't take long for the crowds to start pouring in though. Its quite the popular place.

Waving bye to the other kids as they left.
This is as close to getting wet as she got.
I threw her in under some buckets that dump water on you. She wasn't too thrilled about it.
Sucking the water off her hands.
Morgan loves the slide, but she prefers to go down feet first on her belly. Every time.

I usually have to force her to go down the right way.
Trying on mom's sunglasses.

This video pretty much describes what she did the entire time we were there (besides playing on the slide).

Monday June 15, 2009-Playing at the Park

My parent's backyard shares a border with a big park, so last Monday morning, when our plans were changed last minute, we walked over and played for a while. She loves the swings.
And of course the stairs.
And she couldn't leave the park without climbing the slide at least 10 times.

June 14, 2009 An Early Father's Day

I've tried to think of one word to describe my dad, but there just isn't only one that comes to mind. My dad is amazing. He has a strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ, he has a silly sense of humor, he is a great grandpa to all of his grandkids, he is incredibly outgoing and socialable, he is active, smart, kind, he is young at heart and its so easy to have a good time with him. Something that has always impressed me about my dad is that he never ever walks by a piece of trash (inside or out) without picking it up. He's always aware of his surroundings (well, except when the TV is on) and has a great eye for detail. I'm so thankful for him and that I was able to spend a week with him while I was here in the States. I hope you had a good Father's day dad! I love you!

Since my dad was in town on June 14th we had Father's Day with him a little early.
Just being silly
My brother, Marshall, and his wife Jenny hosted the day.
Morgan with aunt Jenny
This is the gift we gave my dad. Its a book of pictures and memories. Each of his 5 kids wrote a letter and/or their favorite memories of him and the grandkids each drew him a picture. Jenny put everything together on a website and had it printed. It turned out so great!
Morgan with her Grandma Call
I really hesitated to put this picture on here. But whatever.
Morgan playing the drums.
Morgan and Grandpa Call. I think she gets her eyes from my side of the family. They get super squinty when she smiles.
Playing peek-a-boo.
