Today we saw Cars 2. It was cute. I loved how creative it was with the spy stuff. But Mater was so obnoxious I wanted to walk out!!

We were out running errands the other day and I thought we'd stop by the pet store to see the animals. I really wanted to take home a kitty! If only they weren't charging an 87 dollar adoption fee!!

Happy Father's Day

To my dad...I love you and miss you everyday!

My step dad...always there to offer advice.

My father-in-law...I couldn't thank you enough for raising the son you raised!

And to the father of my children...there's no greater blessing I could ever ask for or recieve than to have married you for all eternity. We love you, miss you, and look forward to hearing your voice!

This and That

Morgan fell asleep on the couch with "Uncle" Jon the other night while watching Cinderella.

Ready for her first day of dance!!!!

She did so good and had so much fun. I'm so proud of her. She tends to be shy in new situations like this, but at dance class she was so excited and listened so well to her teacher. She tried very hard to do all the things her teacher was doing.

Hey, I used to drink out of the hose when I was a kid. There's nothing wrong with sucking water out of the sprinkler!!

This little boy is WAY to comforable in the water. He asked me to take him out of his floaty and then he proceeded to try to wiggle out of my arms saying "go, down, go". It's terrifying going from a child who is so scared of water (Morgan) to a child who will jump right in regardless of whether or not an adult is around.

Just look at that frown! She was not happy when I told her it was time to get out and dry off.

D-Day June 3, 2011

Saying Goodbye

Yesterday we said goodbye to Clint for his year long deployment. I dressed the kids in their cute patriotic outfits for the occassion.

See the necklace Morgan is wearing? Its a little heart shaped flag. She calls it her "work necklace" because she associates it with the flag on Clint's uniform.

Hugs and kisses to last for a few months.

Its much more difficult to watch the kids say goodbye to their dad than to say goodbye myself. No kid should ever have to be without a dad....Sigh.

It was an emotional night, but we're doing okay. The kids don't really understand the amount of time their dad is going away. Its going to be a rough year I can tell already. Be safe Clint! We love you more than anything and will be missing you!
