Morgan LeeAnn

2007
1 year, 2008
2 years, 2009
3 years, 2010
4 years, 2011
I never wrote a birthday post for my little girl. Between the cleaning, packing, and getting ready for a 4 week vacation, I've just been too pooped.
Despite her feisty attitude, Morgan is the light of her parents' eyes. She brings so much joy to us. I know I say that about both my kids, all the time, but it's so true. There are days when we're driving in the car and I look at her through the rear view mirror. She just gives me a big Morgan smile and it makes me all emotional.
Morgan still loves everything Princess and Strawberry Shortcake. She is going to preschool 2 days a week. She's learning so much! Spanish, ballet, tap, sign language, writing, reading. She can write her name sometimes, but is very easily frustrated. She recognizes O, X, S, G, A, M. She is very smart (in my opinion) and is good at putting things together. I love when she gets that wheels-are-turning look on her face. She's singing more and more every day but still gets embarassed when she realizes someone is listening. She is officially 100% out of diapers and pull-ups. She no longer has to wear them to bed and I'm SO HAPPY!!!
Some of my favorite Morgan sayings:
"Oh snap"
"Table clock" (instead of cloth)
"Growed up" (instead of throw up)
"Neckslet" (necklace)
"Disgusting!"
I can't believe she's already 4. She's such a great kid. A little emotional, but great!!

My Big Boy!

Jackson is such a good boy! He had been asking me to use the potty a lot, so I decided to try potty training. He was accident free by day 3! He's had a few accidents here and there, and is kind of shy when he's in nursery or at daycare ( he doesn't like to ask strangers to take him potty lol). I'm very proud of him. Tonight he bit his pacifier in half and broke off the tip. So to bed he went with no "far far". He cried for less than 10 minutes! He makes his mama happy!!

What Clint's Been Up To

Clint is getting A LOT of flight time over there...
I love this picture of these guys with the flag.
A few days ago, Clint got to fly with my brother Jason.

I'm not sure whos flying the aircraft while they snap pictures of themselves :)
Neat scenery in the background!

Thanksgiving 2011

We had Thanksgiving with Shelly and several of our friends this year. Nikki hosted, along with her parents. We had so much fun and it was so nice to be together!

Each of us wives lit a candle for our husband.

All Good Things Come To An End

R&R was great while it lasted. We mostly just hung out and pretended like we have a normal life. My toilet got fixed, along with my sprinkling system, garage light, headlight, and the winter lawn work got done. Phew, it's was good to have a man around!

The saying goodbye wasn't too bad. The kids did fine until Morgan realized the situation and started crying. But we made it through. Everything has already been crazy since he left. The house feels emptier already, but we are halfway done, so I know it will go fast.

Race To Remember Half Marathon

I love running! I love running with my hubby! I love racing and I love beating myself! Last year I ran a half marathon in 2:37. Today I did it in 1:57!!! Clint did it in 1:45! He's amazing.

I never thought I could cut 40 minutes off my time! But with my girls at CrossFit always pushing me to be my best, I actually did it!! They were there at the finish line to cheer me, along with Clint and it felt good to hear them cheering me on!

Anna, Rosalinda, and Paula! Fire breathers!

Love this guy so much! I already miss him and he hasn't even gone back to Afghanistan yet!

Ya know, I'm older than I've ever been (obviously) and I feel AMAZING! I could totally kick my 17- year old booty! I may not look better than I did back then but I'm so much stronger, faster, healthier, all around better!

Clint's Birthday

We celebrated Clint's bay on the 30th since we knew we'd be trick-or-treating on Halloween (his actual birthday). We started off with carving pumpkins...
Mo did NOT want to get her hands dirty!

But she finally gave it a try!

Lighting them

The finished product

Then we made and decorated cupcakes. Always fun! Jacks was so proud of himself. He kept saying "I did it mom!" Every time he put sprinkles on his cupcake.

Piling on the marshmallows.

Clint loved hearing the kids sing to him.
