First Professional Pictures-February 18, 2008
While her grandparents were here we took Morgan to get her first professional pictures done. There isn't many places to go around here, so we chose Sears. I wouldn't have chosen them if I had known they wouldn't do that great of a job. I could have done the same pictures at home and made her smile more. They just didn't pay much attention to detail and they rushed us so fast that I couldn't catch every little thing that was out of place. The quality of the prints aren't that great either, if you ask me. O well, she's beautiful anyway, and growing way too fast, so its good that we got them done. In the first picture Morgan is sitting on a Strawberry Shortcake blanket that Grandma Anderson made for her and holding a doll that Grandma Webb gave her for Christmas. In the second picture her shirt says "Daddy is my Hero" but you can't really see the word "Daddy".Grandma & Grandpa-February 14-19
Clint's parents came to visit for a few days. We had so much fun with them. We went to Panama City, watched the sunset in Destin, shopped til we dropped, played Wii (which a LOVED), hung out, watched movies, ate good food, and had lots of Morgan time. It was great! Its always hard to have our loved ones leave though. We missed them as soon as they went through security at the airport. Thanks for coming out! It was great to have you here!

Morgan is 2 Months-February 12, 2008
Morgan was 2 months old on Saturday this week. She had her check up appointment today where she got her first shots. I was so worried about it because of the horror stories I've heard. It actually wasn't that bad though. She screamed bloody murder, but I actually kind of chuckled about it (I know, thats horrible!) but I had never seen her so mad or in so much pain I guess, and I was just shocked at how big her mouth could get and how red her face could get. As soon as the nurse gave her to me she calmed down to just a whimper. My favorite part of being a mom is being able to comfort my baby. I love it! Morgan slept for a long time after that. She weighed in at 11 pounds 10 ounces and 23.5 inches long. Shes pretty much in the 75 percentile so she's just above average. Most of her 0-3 month old clothes are getting too small in the length, but they are still baggy on her width wise.
Mad at Dad-February 10, 2008
Okay, so the other day Clint was trying so very hard to make Morgan smile. All he wanted was one smile before she went down for her nap, but Morgan just wouldn't cooperate. In fact, I think she was yelling at him as you can see in this video. We had never seen her do this before. Usually when she gets mad she just starts crying, but this time she was...well...yelling, I think. Or at least trying to.

HELLOOOOO NURSE!!-February 10, 2008

That's right! You can now call me nurse Katie! I PASSED STATE BOARDS! Can you believe it? I can't! I was so worried about this darn test. I went to Dothan at 7 o'clock Friday morning to take it. I started the test about quarter to 8 and was done at 9. It stopped me at 85 questions, which is the minimum (the max is 205). So that either meant that I was answering most of them right, or most of them wrong. I'm so thankful that I have awesome freinds who have come to my house to watch Morgan so I can study, and who have come to study with me. I couldn't have done it without them. I was also worried that Morgan wouldn't sleep the night before and that I'd go in to take the test with only a couple hours of sleep. But she slept almost 7 hours that night! What a blessing! I am so freakin excited that I passed! I need to celebrate! WoHooooo!!!!

Morgan and some cousins-February 3, 2008
On super bowl sunday we went up to my brother, Jason's, house in Fort Mitchell, AL with my other brother, Travis, who lives here at Fort Rucker. We had lots of fun. The kids had their faces painted, but most of it had been rubbed off after a hard day of playing outside. These are 4 of Morgan's 7 cousins on her mom's side. She has 3 more that live in Utah, plus another on dad's side. Its so fun to have our families growing so fast. And we miss everyone that is back home. Hopefully it wont be too long before Morgan can meet her other cousins. Megan(5) holding Morgan, Ashley (3), Braydon(6), and Ambria (1 month).
