Morgan's 5th Birthday Party-December 8, 2012

I decided to throw Morgan a real birthday party with her friends this year.  Parties are so much work, but I figure our kids will only get them a couple times in their lives.  We kept it small and it turned out wonderful!  We had a Fancy Nancy tea party luncheon.
The invitation:
The accessory station:
Hair clips, bracelets, rings, necklaces, earrings, boas, and nail art!  Everything a fancy girl needs!
All ready for guests to arrive!
Along with the cupcakes we had butterfly shaped sandwiches and fruit and crackers.
The girls arrived wearing their fanciest ensembles, then accessorized at the accessory station.
Next we had lunch and "tea" (pink lemonade).

Then we read a Fancy Nancy book and learned lots of fancy words!

Next up was bracelet making.

Last we sang happy birthday, ate cupcakes, and the girls make up their own ice cream parfaits.  Most of them put so many toppings on their ice cream that they ended up not eating any of it. LOL

Happy birthday Morgan!  We can't believe you've already been with us for 5 years!  You are so smart and make us proud to be your parents.  We love you and thank Heavenly Father for you every day!

Christmas Card-2012

Decorating Our Charlie Brown Tree-Nov 26, 2012

I let the kids stay up late and wait for daddy to get off work last week so we could decorate the tree for FHE.  Decorating the house for Christmas is always one of my most favorite things about the holidays.  (taking it all down is my least favorite!)

They kept wanting their pictures taken with ornaments....

As usual, most of the ornaments ended up in one spot :)
Topping it off with an angel...

Not sure why this one is sideways LOL.

More Fun with Grandma and Grandpa

The kids had so much fun with Grandpa and Grandma Call. They were so upset when they woke up Sunday morning and they were already gone.
While they were here we had a little ice cream Birthday for dad/Christams party.

Turns out shopping with Grandpa is more like an amusement park ride than actual shopping!

Thanksgiving 2012

Dad and Karen came to visit for Thanksgiving! This was seriously the best Thanksgiving away from home we've ever had.  Clint was here, we had family visiting, Jason and Shelly came over, my cousin brought her family up from Hutto (45 minutes south of where we live), and Nikki and RJ came over.  I roasted my first turkey and it turned out pretty good.  It was so fun I didn't want the day to end!
I made cute little name cards for everyone.  Just for fun :)

Getting the edible crafts ready for the kids.  Thanks Grandma!!!
Yummy Turkey!

We were so thankful to be surrounded by family on Thanksgiving.  And especially to have Clint home with us.  We are looking forward to Christmas with him this year also!
