Yesterday Morgan modeled for Basic Elle. They were much better at doing her hair and makeup, and they were very nice and helpful to me with both of the kids. Their clothes are by far the cutest ones she's ever modeled.

Jackson's Blessing Day
Yesterday, Sunday the 29th, Jackson was blessed at church by his dad. Before I say anything else, don't make fun of his hat!!! Its cute and it does NOT make him look like a girl! Okay, maybe a little, but the outfit was Clint's when he was blessed and its adorable!
Anyway, Clint held Jackson in a circle with Mark Sawatka, Harold Stanley, Garrett Showell, Steve Curl, Joe Cho, Hans Zeller, and Nate Feher. Jackson was given the name Jackson Paul Webb and blessed with these things:
The above picture is a close up of his vest. I just love the outfit and I'm so glad Clint's mom saved it. If we had waited one more week to bless him, it wouldn't have fit him. He's getting so chunky! I had to buy size 3 diapers the other day, he's been blowing out his size 2! And, he's wearing size 3-6 months clothes now. He is still so happy and smiley all the time. He laughed for the first time last week, but of course I can't get the video to load. He also found his hands last week.

a desire to live so that the spirit will always be with him
to develop a strong testimony of the Savior and His gospel
a deep love for his family
to be a great example to his siblings and a blessing to his parents
strength needed to stay on the path of righteousness so that he may be baptized, receive the priesthood, serve a mission, and marry in the temple
a clear mind and a full heart
I'm so thankful for this little boy who was sent to our home. He has shown and taught me so much about the pure love of Christ. He is such a sweet child. Our time with him is already passing too quickly. I'm also thankful for a husband who lives righteously and is a worthy priesthood holder. I hope Jackson turns out just like his dad.

Our Thanksgiving
This Thanksgiving we spent the day with some great friends of ours. We all went over to the Feher's house (thanks for hosting) and had a wonderful time!
Morgan got into this swing when everyone went upstairs to check out the frying turkey and I was changing the baby's diaper.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Today is Thanksgiving, and this picture pretty much sums up the things I am MOST grateful for. Clint, Morgan, Jackson, and a comfy bed ;)
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Friends, Cinderella, and File Folder Fun
This is Morgan and Elaine. They are 2 months apart. We had dinner with Elaine's family last night. They had a hard time sharing at first, but eventually realized that its more fun to play with each other.
Morgan watching Cinderella for the 2nd time yesterday. She's crazy about "See Ella". For some reason, every time she sees the prince, she says "Daddy's home". Like she thinks her dad is some kind of prince charming. Weird, I know.

On Wednesday last week Morgan had a little craft day with some of her friends. We made Thanksgiving puppets.

A Mother's Grown-Up Christmas List
Dear Santa,
I've been a good mom all year. I've fed, cleaned and cuddled my children on demand, visited the doctor's office more than my dotor and sold 62 cases of candy bars to raise money to plant a shade tree on the school playground. I was hoping you could spread my Christmas list over several years, since I had to write this letter with my son's red crayon on the back of a receipt in the laundry room between cycles, and who knows if I'll find any more free time in the next 18 years.
Here are my wishes: I'd like a pair of legs that don't ache (in any color except purple, which I already have) and arms that don't hurt or flap in the breeze, but are strong enough to pull my screaming child out of the candy aisle in the grocery store.
I'd also like a waist, since I lost mine somewhere in the 7th month of my last pregnancy. If you're hauling big-ticket items this year, I'd like fingerprint-resistant windows and a radio that only plays adult music, and a refrigerator with a secret compartment behind the crisper where I can hide to talk on the phone.
On the practical side, I could use a talking doll that says, "Yes, Mommy," to boost my parental confidence, along with two kids who don't fight and three jean skirts that will zip all the way up without the use of power tools.
I could also use a recording of Tibetan monks chanting "Don't eat in the living room" and "Take your hands off your sister," because my voice seems to be just out of my chilren's hearing range and can only be heard by the dog.
If it's too late to find any of these products, I'd settle for enough time to brush my teeth and comb my hair in the same morning, or the luxury of eating food warmer than room temperature without it being served in a styrofoam container.
If you don't mind, I could also use a few miracles to brighten the holiday season. Would it be too much trouble to declare ketchup a vegetable? It will clear my conscience immensely. It would also be helpful if you could coerce my children to help around the house without demanding payments as if they were the bosses of an organized crime family.
Well, Santa, the buzzer on the dryer is calling my name, and my son saw my feet under the laundry room dorr. I think he wants his crayon back.
Yours always, Mom
P.S. One more thing...you can cancel all my requests if you can keep my children young enough to always believe in Santa.

Jackson is 2 Months
Today Jackson is 2 months old. He weighs 13.8 lbs and is 23 inches long. He is 80th percentile for weight, 40th for height and head. He did not like getting his shots and screamed bloody murder even after I picked him up. He is the sweetist little baby I've ever known in my life. He still cries quite a bit in the evenings, but its only because he wants to cuddle. As long as he is cuddling with someone he is as happy as can be. He's still sleeping good at night and is eating really good too. Every time I lay him down in his crib for a nap or bedtime he gives me the biggest smiles that just melt my heart. I have an adorable video of him cooing and smiling, but I can't get it to load onto blogger.

Growing Like a Weed
Jackson is growing so fast. He's outgrown most of his 0-3 clothes, except the pants, he's got short legs. He's also outgrowing being swaddle :( I love a swaddled baby. O well. This picture is how I found him the other day sleeping soundly in his crib. I had him wrapped up tight. He's getting so strong.
Jackson is also cooing and "talking" to us now. It seems like he's doing things earlier tha Morgan, but maybe I just don't remember right. I'll have to go back through my blog and see. I'll post a video of his sweet little voice as soon as I get one.

A New Dress and Other Cute Stuff
Have you ever seen those blogs on the web that teach you how to "repurpose" your clothes and make them into little kids clothes. Well, Clint didn't need a blog to figure out how to make his bball shorts into a dress for Morgan....
