Grayson's Blessing

While Clint's family was here we were able to bless Grayson.  Papa blessed him along with Clint and many of our great friends here in the Killeen 1st ward.  The blessing was beautiful.  He was blessed with many great things such as to have an open heart and open mind, to become a strong man and accept all the teachings of the gospel, and to always to the Lord's work.

The outfit was a cute little tuxedo from Nana.  It was a little big, but he looked so handsome in it!

Visit With Webb's

Clint's parents and sister came out for a quick weekend trip in April. Somehow I didn't get many pictures, but here's a few I did get.
Eating ice cream on the riverwalk in San Antonio

At the Alamo

Checking out Papa.

The kids loved the rides at Sea World.  Jackson was a little scared at first but he warmed up to the excitement really quick.  Last year he cried on every ride, so I was happy to see him emjoying himself this time!

It was so fun having family here again.  The visit was way too short and we were sad to have them leave!  Morgan cried as soon as they left.  But hopefully we'll get some visitors at Christmas time this year ;)

Baby Gray

I forgot to post these pictures back when they were taken. He was 2 or 3 weeks old when these pictures were done.  My friend Caitlin took the first 3.
I asked her to do this Bible one specifically.  Last year when Clint and I were talking about having another baby I was on the fence about it in my mind.  For selfish reasons.  But I knew we were supposed to have more kids.  I remembered a talk at church or in a conference where a sister said that we should pray for children to come to our home as Ruth did.  That way we can say that we truly indeed wanted each child and feel a true gratefulness for them.  So that is what I did.  I prayed very fervently for another child to come to our home and Heavenly Father quickly answered that prayer.

My friend Chantelle took this picture when Grayson and I were still in the hospital.  So sweet :)
And these were taken at Chantelle's home.

I'm so thankful to have friends with so much talent!  I will cherish these pictures forever!

6 Weeks Old

Grayson is 6 weeks old today and this is what I got for Mother's Day! LOTS of smiles :) This boy is so loving and so snugly! He woke up this morning and was so happy to see me he couldn't stop smiling long enough to eat! It was so sweet.

Being a Mother of 3

I thought, at first, that being a mother of 3 was a piece if cake. I mean, the baby slept all day long and the other 2 are fairly independent. Well, then Clint went back to work. Morgan has been very emotional due to mama's attention being occupied. She wants so badly to help, but can only do so much. I try to let her do what she can. She certainly doesn't like to hear Grayson cry and she lets me know it all the time.
Jackson is, we'll, Jackson. He can be such a sweet mama's boy but gets very upset when mama can't do what he wants me to do. He's struggling with being more independent and not being capable of doing things for himself. He really loves to help Grayson. Every time Grayson cries Jacks is there with a pacifier or a toy or a kiss.
Grayson is almost 6 weeks old. He is so sweet and cuddly. However he loves to be held all day every day which makes it hard to get anything done. I have become so accustomed to having a clean and somewhat orderly home that it has caused a great deal of anxiety for me to not be able to keep up on the house work. I'm working very hard to overcome the feelings of inadequacy that I'm feeling. I admit I love rocking and cuddling Grayson all day. Even though there's times I could put him down and do some housework, I'm really enjoying taking a break from life and just enjoying him. I have to remind myself that no one ever died wishing they had kept their house cleaner, but usually they wish they had spent more time with the ones they love.
I felt like a champ this morning for getting 3 rooms vacuumed on the same day :) Clint has been gone for training so it's really been crazy around here. But I'm truly thankful for my little family and the joy they bring to me.
