Videos, Videos, and More Videos

I love taking videos of my kids. I think videos are the best way to capture personality.

So for the last 9 days I've been trying to get Morgan off her pacifier at nap time. Every single day she has screamed and cried and then taken a very short 30-45 minute nap. She hasn't been sleeping through the night. I think because she loses her pacifier and thinks I took it away from her. So a couple nights ago I cut a hole in the tip and when she realized it didn't work anymore she got mad and threw it. But she slept all night long. Last night, after crying for a long time because her pacifier was broken, Morgan and I had a heart to heart and, together, we threw the pacifier away!

I was so proud of her! She went straight to bed after that and slept til 530. Clint had to soothe her back to sleep and then she slept the rest of the morning. It broke my heart to do this to her. She's still my baby girl. But it had to be done. And now it is. I just hope she forgets about it soon. Because the last week has been a nightmare!

What a good girl to throw it away. How's it going since she threw it away? I love all of these videos.

I love it when you put videos on! Morgan's hair is getting so long, I love that she coughed when Jackson did. :) Also those big brown eyes that kept looking up at you when she had to throw her pacifier away broke my heart too! But good job for following through. :) I miss you guys a ton!!!

Good for you! Bree still has one at night. That will be chaning in about 4 more months when we move and my parents wont have to listen to her scream. I might even get brave and do a 2 for one and get brooke too.
Seeing Jackson on the video made me so baby hungry!!!

We had Mikalea throw her binky away when she was two and she cried for it that first night but I just said...remember Mikaela, you threw it away...then she said...oh yeah and that was that, not one more peep! We were so lucky but had tried many other things to no avail. I hope Elena is just as easy to break...Haylee is still a thumb sucker and it drives me crazy, too bad we can't throw thumbs away! :)
