Artwork and a Picnic

The other day Morgan was coloring and concentrating so hard for a long time. Longer than usual anyway. Well, when she was done she proudly showed me her picture. I was SO amazed at how well she had stayed in the lines. Its not perfect, but for a 2 1/2 year-old I think its pretty good. I didn't even know she had learned such a skill. I think its from hanging out with her older cousins.
Last week we went to playgroup with some ladies from our church. We had a Teddy Bear picnic. Here's Morgan and Jackson in the wagon ready to go.

Halloween Cupcakes~October 10, 2010

My mom loves decorating cupcakes and cookies with her grandkids. On Sunday, after the baby blessing, we had dinner at my brother's house. Afterward the kids decorated Halloween cupcakes.

This was my favorite frosting.

Reid's Baby Blessing~October 10, 2010

On Sunday, my cousin's baby boy, Reid, was blessed. Reid is the baby 2nd from the right. All 3 of the babies in this picture were born within a few months of each other. My grandma made their blessing clothes. Anyway, these kids are all the cousins on my dad's side that were in attendence. (Morgan stayed home with her Grandma).

Wheeler Farm~October 9, 2010

Last Saturday I ventured to Wheeler Farm with my brother and his family.
Kayla, Ellie, and Morgan
In the corn maze
Jackson on Marshall's shoulders
This was the so-called "pumpkin patch". Part of admission was getting to pick a pumpkin from the "patch". I guess we went too late in the day.

After Wheeler Farm we went to my brother's house and had homemade soup and scones. It was yummy!!! My sister-in-law also made caramel apples. So delicious!!!

Treehouse Museum~October 6, 2010

This past week we went to the Treehouse Museum in Ogden with my cousin and her 3 boys.
Morgan, Joshua, and Benjamin
The Treehouse was incredible! I loved it!!! Morgan could have spent all day there.
They had a little story time while we were there. A lady read a fish story and then let the kids watch as she fed the fish in the aquarium.
Patrick and Jackson watching the fish.
Benjamin and Morgan playing with dinosaurs in a volcano.

Milking a cow. If you look closely you can see there is really something coming out.

We went to Mexico and made crete paper flowers.
Tea Party

Morgan had a good time dancing around on this stage.
