My Helpful Husband
Clint is such a great husband. He loves to help me remember things. You see, I have a horrible memory. I seriously forget EVERYTHING. Sometimes I remember them later, other times I have absolutely no recollection of doing or saying something. So, Clint likes to help me remember to do certain things.

Independence Day
We had a great 4th of July. Around 4 we went to Yongsan for the celebration. We had dinner and then hung out with our great friends. The kids danced, ate junk, and sweated their bums off. It was so incredibly HOT and HUMID! But we enjoyed ourselves none the less.

Yesterday we were out and about in Korea. We were walking down this street just looking around and Clint noticed an alleyway that had lots of people and stands were people were selling stuff. He's says, "hey, lets go look over there, that looks like a market." So we turn down this street and we see dogs. We're like, "oh great, Morgan will LOVE seeing some animals." But then we noticed the cages of dogs had hundreds of dogs in them and they were just piled on top of one another. They were sickly looking dogs. All the same "breed". We saw a few cages of goats and chickens too. Then we realized this was not a place to see cute little cuddly dogs. This was a meat market. It was a market where you choose your dog (or chicken or goat) and they butcher it right there for you!! As soon as we realized this we turned around and got out of there. It was one of the most disgusting things I've ever seen. It was so sad. They just breed hundreds of thousands of dogs for meat. Of course, we do the same thing with chickens and cows, etc. But it was a whole different story seeing dogs that way. We didn't get any pictures. I should have. It was so crazy!

Modeling Shoot #8 DAKS Kids
Morgan was really good at her modeling shoot today. They were modeling winter clothes outside in the 85 degree 98% humidity weather. The other 2 kids didn't do so well, we sat around waiting for a LONG time. But I was pleasently surprised and happy that Morgan was better than usual.

I have no idea why they made her hair so frizzy, it would have been much cuter if they had left it in its non-frizzy wringlet curls.

Morgan's First Slumber Party
Last night Morgan's 2 cute little friends spent the night. They were so good and had so much fun. We will definitely do it again.
Bath time. Lucille is throwing up a peace sign because thats what Koreans do in just about every picture they take. Its funny that Lucille does it.
COEX Aquarium Again-June 26, 2010
Our friends, the Feher's, invited us to spend their last weekend in Korea with them. We went to the aquarium for little Kayden's first birthday.
I tried to take pictures of different things this time.
Looking at a chipmunk.

There's little tiny fish in the lights.
Also fish in the soda machine

Funny stretchy mirror.
If you look closely you can see a little orange fish hiding in the hole.
Fish in the sink
and in the fridge.
A close up of the fridge
Poor tiny monkey caged in a tiny cage.
Amazon people. A friend of mine told me once that I was like a beautiful Amazon woman. I don't think it was a compliment, although she meant it that way :)
This was my favorite display. In honor of the World Cup.

Debbie, Kayden, big Morgan, and little Morgan

Salt Water Crocodile. I didn't even know they had crocodiles in salt water. Interesting.

At one fish display they had these HUGE GIGANTIC fish. Like the size of Morgan, but thick and probably twice as heavy as her. Morgan wanted Clint to hold her up so he picks her up, she peaks up over the top of the tank, and throws her graham cracker in the tank. These fish went NUTS over the cracker and started fighting for it. Water was splashing everywhere. I thought these gigantic fish were going to jump over the side of the tank. It was so funny! Of course we walked away and acted like we had no idea what was going on :)
Shortly after this picture was taken, the bus driver slammed on the breaks and Morgan went flying head over heals, heals over head onto the floor of the bus.

See-la-lala
The other day Clint and I were in our bedroom talking. Morgan had been playing quietly for quite a while. Next thing we know she comes running into our room, dressed in the outfit below and says, "Mommy, pretty See-la-lala" (Cinderella).
I must say, I'm quite proud of her for dressing herself. Everything was on correctly. However, since this day, she has been dressing herself everyday and usually something, or everything, ends up backwards or inside out and she refuses to allow me to help her.
