This and That

We usually go out to eat after Morgan's dance class since its so late in the day. This week we went to IHOP. I am so blessed to have such great, well-behaved kids.
Jackson loves being a big boy with his backpack. When I go to the gym the kids go to daycare. Morgan calls it "school" so she always wants her backpack. Naturally so does Jackson.
Morgan never ceases to amaze me with her art abilities. She drew this picture of her "in her swimming suit at the pool" with no help or instruction. Where does she learn these things? Either she's really smart, or someone at daycare is teaching her new things. I love the eyelashes :)
My poor sick baby. When he gets sick it just lingers for weeks at a time. We're going on 1 week now and his fever is up again today. Luckily Morgan had it and was over it in only a couple of days. Being sick in the summer is awful!

Movie night with popcorn and "Tangled".

Morgan entertaining herself while mommy runs. That is a laundry basket full of clean clothes. Good thing I didn't fold them so she could have something to do :)

Oops. Forgot to turn the hose off. The kids didn't mind having an overflowing pool!

Morgan decided today that she can put her face in the water.

Comic Relief

Kids are like little comedians running circles around their parents. Sometimes saying not so nice things, but often saying things that just make our sides ache from laughing!! I took them to daycare this morning so I could have some time off. On the way home I asked Morgan, "what did you do at daycare?". She answered, "played". I asked her, "what did you play?". To which she replied, "make a mess".

Today the kids played so well together. A nice change from the last couple of days. In this first picture they made their own bunk bed on the changing table. I think Jackson got the worst end of the deal though.

In this picture Jackson was so excited that he finally learned to walk in 2 heels. I asked him if he's a girl and he said, "ya, I'm a girl."

Hide & Seek

Jackson likes to be like the big kids and play hide and seek. He is counting "1, 2, 3, here I come!"

The Toughest 10k

Today I ran a 10k in Lampasas. My first 10k. I finished in 1:06:28. However the course was just under 6 miles and should have been 6.2ish. It really was the toughest race I've ever done. Harder than my 13.1 half marathon because it was up and down hill the entire way.

After the race we cooled off in Nikki's pool. Thanks Nikki for watching my kids and letting us hang out. I don't know what we would do without you!

The Kiddos

Exercising with mommy.

Grocery shopping.

I told Morgan we were going to go swimming so she stripped naked and got her bag. I thought it was funny.

"up, up"

Patiently waiting for dinner to be ready.
