Morgan's Birthday Party

We had Morgan's birthday party on Saturday the 5th. Clint had to work Saturday so we gave Morgan her birthday present from us on Friday night after the Christmas party. She absolutely loved it of course. She was crying about something when Clint wheeled it out and when she saw it she stopped dead in her tracks and stared. It was too cute!

Here she is the morning of her party in her party outfit.
Party favors-the boys got toy airplanes and the girls got Strawberry Shortcake pocket mirrors.
Karen and Mary waiting for the fun to begin.
We had a Strawberry Shortcake video playing and a table where the kids could color SSC pictures.

The guy who runs the arts and crafts center at K16 brought up necklaces for the kids.
Handsome little boys.
Eating strawberry shaped PB&J sandwhiches, Strawberry lemonade, fruits, veggies, cheese, crackers.
Alexander and Big Morgan.
Amanda, Pam and Debbie
The kids had to pop their balloons to get the prize inside. Some of them were a little unsure, including Morgan, she just wanted to play with the balloon.
Apaulo with his prize dinosaur stickers.
McKay eying Morgan's drink, or maybe Morgan, I'm not sure.
Singing happy birthday with Strawberry cupcakes.
As usual, she only ate the frosting.
Opening gifts

Morgan protecting her new shopping cart...I guess I won't have to worry about her sticking up for herself in the future.
It was her party and she cried when she wanted to...
Nikki feeding Jackson.
Trying to escape the party
Matt and Morgan, still playing well after the party was over.

We had a great day and had so much fun spending time with friends. I am so thankful I had friends to help me get ready for the party, it ended up being more work than I anticipated and I couldn't have done it without them. Mary watched Morgan, Nikki decorated, Melissa and Ashley prepared the food, and I ran around like a crazy woman trying to make sure I didn't forget anything. I'm so blessed to have made some great friends here in Korea. This weekend, I realized for the first time, that I may acutally be sad to leave this country. Thanks to everyone who came to hang out, help, and gave Morgan such wonderful gifts. She loves all her new stuff.

Christmas Tree Lighting Party at K16

Here are a few pictures from the Tree Lighting party on Friday night (the 4th). We had a great time and really got into the Christmas Spirit.

Christmas Is Coming...Jackson's Gettin' Fat

This handsome little devil is sporting a light blue hooded fleece vest and pant set in size 3-6 MONTHS!!!! Yes folks, that's right, Jackson has graduated to size 3-6 months at the ripe old age of 2 months. He's outgrown everything in width, but he's a little on the short side.
Funny thing is, Morgan looked way chubbier than Jackson does. But she never outgrew any size until after she had reached the indicated age. She had chub on her legs and arms, Jackson is all belly.
Morgan in her Christmas dress.
and our humble little Christmas tree is finally up! We meant to put it up on Black Friday, but we've been a little on the busy side....okay, CLINT is a little on the busy side, I've just been hanging out at home with the kiddos.
We're having a birthday party for Morgan this Saturday. I know, I know, she's only 2 and I swore I'd never give my kids a birthday party until they were in school, but this is what happens when you have too much time on your hands, you start planning an overdone Strawberry Shortcake party for a 2 year old who has no clue whats going on. AND she got jipped out of her 1st birthday because we had just gotten here, we didn't know anyone, and we had no family to celebrate with. The truth is, its more of an excuse for me to throw a party and hang out with my friends :) It will be loads of fun. Unfortunately, Clint will be leaving that morning for the field (the Army has impeccable timing) so he will miss her party and her actual birthday. At least he'll be here for Christmas though. Okay, I'm done rambling now.

Modeling Shoot #3 Basic Elle

Yesterday Morgan modeled for Basic Elle. They were much better at doing her hair and makeup, and they were very nice and helpful to me with both of the kids. Their clothes are by far the cutest ones she's ever modeled.
Is that skirt not the cutest thing you've ever seen? I wanted to take it home! Morgan nailed the tipy-toes thing, its exactly what they were wanting her to do.
I love the bandanna in this outfit.
This last one she was being kind of difficult. But she still did pretty good. They want her to come back next week to do more and they gave her a 10 dollar "bonus". Ha ha.
I couldn't resist taking this picture. These 2 kids were just too cute!

Jackson's Blessing Day

Yesterday, Sunday the 29th, Jackson was blessed at church by his dad. Before I say anything else, don't make fun of his hat!!! Its cute and it does NOT make him look like a girl! Okay, maybe a little, but the outfit was Clint's when he was blessed and its adorable!
Anyway, Clint held Jackson in a circle with Mark Sawatka, Harold Stanley, Garrett Showell, Steve Curl, Joe Cho, Hans Zeller, and Nate Feher. Jackson was given the name Jackson Paul Webb and blessed with these things:

a desire to live so that the spirit will always be with him
to develop a strong testimony of the Savior and His gospel
a deep love for his family
to be a great example to his siblings and a blessing to his parents
strength needed to stay on the path of righteousness so that he may be baptized, receive the priesthood, serve a mission, and marry in the temple
a clear mind and a full heart

I'm so thankful for this little boy who was sent to our home. He has shown and taught me so much about the pure love of Christ. He is such a sweet child. Our time with him is already passing too quickly. I'm also thankful for a husband who lives righteously and is a worthy priesthood holder. I hope Jackson turns out just like his dad.
The above picture is a close up of his vest. I just love the outfit and I'm so glad Clint's mom saved it. If we had waited one more week to bless him, it wouldn't have fit him. He's getting so chunky! I had to buy size 3 diapers the other day, he's been blowing out his size 2! And, he's wearing size 3-6 months clothes now. He is still so happy and smiley all the time. He laughed for the first time last week, but of course I can't get the video to load. He also found his hands last week.

Our Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving we spent the day with some great friends of ours. We all went over to the Feher's house (thanks for hosting) and had a wonderful time!
Morgan got into this swing when everyone went upstairs to check out the frying turkey and I was changing the baby's diaper.
Watching the fryer do it's thing.
The final product, don't be fooled, it wasn't burnt on the inside. Just juicy and delicious!
Nate and Clint carving the bird.
Leave it to Steve and Garrett to do something "funny"...

Morgan, always lovin on her baby brother.

Dessert with dad.
And the best part (next to the food) of the day. Watching these guys "row their boats" on the Wii Olympic game.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Today is Thanksgiving, and this picture pretty much sums up the things I am MOST grateful for. Clint, Morgan, Jackson, and a comfy bed ;)
Seriously, though, on this Thanksgiving day I am realizing how blessed I am because I have a beautiful family (immediate and extended). And if everything else in the world came crashing down around us, we would still be as happy as can be because we have each other. Its not always easy to feel this way. Especially when things don't go the way we want them to. But this is the focus of my thoughts today and I am going to work harder to be Thankful for the things I do have every single day.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
